The position of Account Manager is a quota-carrying enterprise software field sales position responsible for meeting and exceeding quota by generating and closing new opportunities in the assigned market. Participation in industry conferences and trade shows will be a part of the AE’s role as well, as he/she works towards building relationships that turn customers into loyal fans.
Responsibilities:
• Articulate the solution to customer organizations at the Director, V.P.,and C-level.
• Manage the full life cycle of the enterprise sales process from prospecting to closing.
• Accurately forecast new business.
• Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and technologies, competitors, industry trends.
• Participate in industry conferences and trade shows.
Requirements:
• Minimum 7+ years of Enterprise Software Sales experience, and college degree is preferred.
• SaaS methodology is a plus.
• Proven self starter, with start up background.
• Sales experience selling enterprise solutions.
• A strong drive that thrives in a results oriented culture.
• Up to 50% travel will be required.
• Strong presentation skills and exceptional interpersonal skills.
